"Scheme to Provide Special Financial Assistance for Organizing Cultural Events" is a Grant-In-Aid to the NGOs designed to provide financial support to institutions, cultural groups and individuals to organize/conduct various types of Cultural Events/Programmes/ Exhibitions/Festivals/Workshops.

Benefit
1. Financial grant maximum upto **₹ 5,00,000 or 80% of the expenditure** incurred for organizing the cultural events, whichever is less, based on the nature of the cultural events. 1. However, in the case where the Directorate of Art & Culture suo-moto identifies any institution or group or individual person to organize any Cultural Event/Programme/Exhibition/Festival/Camp & Workshop for the Department of Art & Culture then the grant a maximum upto **₹ 5,00,000 or 100% of the expenditure** incurred for organizing the event, whichever is less shall be granted for this purpose. [**NOTE:** The applicant shall get the financial grant to the extent decided by the Department of Art & Culture/ Government based on the nature and scope of the proposed cultural event and the reputation, standing and eligibility of the applicant.]

      Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Government of Goa, 5th Floor, Shram Shakti Bhavan, Panaji, Patto, Panaji, Goa - 403001

      Step 2: Take a print of the proforma of the application form, or request a hard copy from the concerned authority.

      Step 3: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest if required).
