      Visit the official website to apply for the scheme. Read the SHODH Guidelines and Government Resolution before applying. Click Login → select Registration (for new users). Choose the application year, fill all required fields, and click Register. Registration details cannot be changed later, so enter carefully. Password will be sent to your registered mobile number. Confirm it to complete registration. Change your password immediately after registration using the “Change Password” option.

      Go to the homepage and select Login. Select Application Year. Enter registered email ID, new password, and captcha. Click Login to proceed.

      Filling User & Academic Details:

      Open User Details → fill all personal details including ration card information. Enter ration card number and your member ID only (not family member IDs). Provide Bank Details and ensure Aadhaar is linked to your account via NPCI. Open Academic Details → fill Ph.D. stream, sub-stream, thesis title (in English fonts), research lab, and guide details.

      Upload all required documents clearly (Aadhaar, Bonafide Certificate, SSC Certificate/Marksheet, Research Proposal, PPT, Self-declaration form, etc.). Proposal and PPT must include signatures of Guide and HOD (stamp on first page). Self-declaration must be signed by Guide, HOD, and Nodal Officer before uploading.

      After filling details, click Application Lock → check “Print Preview”. Correct errors (if any) before final lock. Once locked, no changes are allowed. Print the application form. Submit your form along with original documents to your University SHODH Nodal Officer for verification.

      Track your application using the Student Status tab on the portal. If the status shows “Pending”, contact your University Nodal Officer. Nodal Officers can unlock your form for corrections only if status is pending.
