    How to Apply

      Obtain and Fill Application Form: Obtain the application form for the PATSS scheme. Complete the application form and provide your bio-data as required. Attach Essential Documents: Ensure that the following essential documents are properly attached and tagged with the application:

      One copy of the completed application form and bio-data. Degree certificate (proof of eligibility). Date of birth certificate. Copy of the letter from another national or international agency committing to bear partial travel costs. Detailed letter of invitation from the conference organizers. Abstract of the paper you will be presenting at the conference. Certificate from the concerned airline indicating the cost of return airfare by economy class via the shortest route

      3. Check for Completeness: Double-check that all the necessary documents mentioned above are properly attached to the application. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

    4. Step 4: Offline application — step 4

Submit the Application: Send the completed application, along with the required enclosures, to the Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology & Environment (HIMCOSTE) at least one month prior to the commencement of the conference. The application must be forwarded by the Head of the Institution.

      5. Selection Process: The HIMCOSTE will review the applications and communicate the decision about one week before the conference's commencement. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

      6. Commitment Letter and Reimbursement: If selected, the HIMCOSTE will issue a commitment letter agreeing to provide the support. The committed amount will be reimbursed to the scientist upon their return to India after participating in the conference. The scientist must submit a detailed report, a copy of the air ticket, etc., within two months from the conference's date.
