What is Janani Sahayogi Yojana?

The scheme aims to provide free and safe delivery and newborn care services to BPL families by offering free treatment to pregnant women in government and accredited private hospitals.

Benefit

- Free delivery services (both normal and cesarean) for pregnant women belonging to BPL families. - Free maternal and newborn healthcare, including antenatal, delivery, postnatal, and neonatal services. - Free abortion and emergency obstetric care when medically required. - Free medicines, diagnostics, and hospitalization at government or accredited private hospitals. - Linkage with Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) for eligible women to receive additional incentives.
