- 1. The age of the applicant should be at least 60 Years for Men and at least 55 Years for Women. 1. The income of the applicant should be less than ₹ 75,000/- per annum or the applicant should be from the "Below Poverty Line (BPL)" Category.

How to Apply
Step 1: Offline application — step 1
Step 1: The application forms are available with DSWO/TSWO free of cost. The applicant shall submit the duly filled and signed application form ( https://jkdswdj.jk.gov.in/pdf/FORMISSS1.pdf ).along with the required documents reg. the age, income, status, and address, to the concerned Tehsil Social Welfare Officer against proper receipt.
Step 2: Offline application — step 2
Step 2: The concerned Tehsil Social Welfare Officer (TSWO) consolidates the list of eligible applicants under the scheme and forwards it to the concerned District Social Welfare Officer for the arrangement of funds and accord of sanction by a designated District level Sanctioning Committee headed by the Director General, Social welfare Department, Kashmir.
Step 3: Offline application — step 3
Step 3: The amount is disbursed to the beneficiaries through bank advice/money orders.
