What is Free Shoe and Bag Scheme?

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from Classes 1 to 8 studying in all government & government-aided schools for purchasing shoes & bags. An amount of ₹318/- per student for Classes 1 to 5 & ₹462/- per student for Classes 6 to 8 is provided through Direct Benefit Transfer.

How to Apply

1. Step 1: Offline application — step 1

   Students will receive the amount after submitting their Aadhaar card and bank account details to the Principal. At the beginning of the academic session, the amount is transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
