How to Apply
Step 1: Offline application — step 1
To provide free legal aid, the High Court Legal Services Committee has been established at the Hon’ble Uttarakhand High Court, District Legal Services Authorities have been set up in all districts, and Legal Services Committees have been constituted at the Tehsil level. An E-Seva Kendra has been established within the premises of the Hon’ble High Court (Gate No. 7), where legal aid and advice can be availed by submitting a form and contacting the High Court Legal Services Committee, Nainital, at telephone number 09412979696. Additionally, the legal aid helpline number 15100 and toll-free number 1800 180 4000 are operational at the front office of the State Authority, where legal aid and advice can be obtained by calling. For free legal aid, if any senior citizen, woman, or child is unable to visit the concerned office or submit the online form, Legal Volunteers deployed across urban and rural areas of the state can provide assistance. The list of Legal Volunteers, including their names and mobile numbers, is available on the website: https://slsa.uk.gov.in At the district level, each District Legal Services Authority has a front office where legal aid and consultation can be availed either in person or by submitting a form. Applicants can also apply for free legal aid online at: https://nalsa.gov.in/lsams/nologin/applicationFiling.action?requestLocale=en . The offline application form can be downloaded from the website of the State Legal Services Authority, Uttarakhand: https://slsa.uk.gov.in The eligible beneficiary will need the following documents to submit the form: Aadhaar Card, mobile number, caste certificate if belonging to SC/ST, disability certificate issued by the State Government or District Administration for persons with disabilities or mental illness, and income certificate or BPL certificate for those whose annual income from all sources is ₹3,00,000/- or less.
