- All persons with Intellectual Disabilities shall be eligible for Free Travel with one escort under this scheme. In cases of Mental Illness, Locomotor disabilities, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Haemophilia, Thalassemia, Sickle cell disease, they can enjoy 50% travel concession in the Manipur State Transport Services. The Directorate of Social Welfare will issue a Passbook to all the eligible beneficiaries for availing the benefits under the scheme.

Step 1: The application form can be downloaded from the Department’s website www.socialwelfare.nic.in or collected from the District Social Welfare Offices, Office of CDPOs.

Step 2: Fill in the mandatory fields of the Application Form, attach the supporting (self-attested) documents and the passport sized photograph.

Step 3: Submit the form in the Office of the District Social Welfare Officer concerned.
