- **Compensation Amount:** - **In case of death:** ₹4,00,000 is paid to the deceased’s legal heir or family member after deducting any temporary assistance already given and the actual cost of medical treatment before death.- **In case of injury:** Actual medical expenses are reimbursed, along with ₹500 per day (maximum ₹50,000) if hospitalized, after deducting any temporary assistance already provided. **Expected Time of Disbursement:** - Within 3 working days in case of death. - Within 7 working days in case of injury. **Mode of Disbursement:** - The payment is made directly to the beneficiary’s bank account via e-payment.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the nearest Forest Range Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
