Kanya Vivah Sahayta Yojana क्या है?

The primary objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance for marriageable daughters of beneficiary registered labourers and registered women construction labourers working in the building and other construction processes and to encourage legal arrangements.

Benefits In case of fulfilment of all the qualifications to the registered construction worker, an amount of Rs.55,000/- (Rupees fifty five thousand only) will be provided by the board as financial assistance for the marriage of his own daughter or registered female construction worker and for inter-caste marriage Rs. An amount of 61,000 / – (Rupees sixty one thousand only) will be provided as financial assistance. In the case of group marriage, in the event of a marriage of a minimum of 11 couples being organized simultaneously at one place, an amount of Rs. 65,000 (Rupees Sixty Five Thousand only) will be provided by the Board as financial assistance for the daughter's marriage and the group marriage will be held in the form of financial assistance. Expenses at the rate of Rs.7,000/- per pair will be paid by the Board to the organiser. In addition to the above, the amount for the purchase of the bride and groom's dress at the rate of Rs. 5000/- each will be transferred to the account of the registered worker 1 week before the proposed date of mass marriage and if one of the two parties is not present In such a case, the amount paid as advance for a dress will be adjusted against the amount payable in normal / inter-caste marriage (as the case may be). In the case of self-marriage of registered women workers also, the amount of benefit as mentioned above will be payable with the condition that the amount has not been received under this head by her/his father/mother.    Within one year of the completion of the marriage, an application will have to be made from the website of Public Service Center / Board along with all necessary records, but in case of mass marriage, the application can be made 15 days before the date fixed for the marriage. For all those registered construction workers who will be eligible under this scheme, who are the latest duly registered members of the board, as well as the age of the daughter of such registered construction worker or the registered female worker herself should not be less than the age prescribed by the government from time to time. Such updated registered construction workers who have completed at least one year (365 days) membership of the board after registration will be able to apply for benefits under this scheme.
